Shaping better futures through human thinking.
Independent strategic adviser helping people and organisations think differently about what is possible
I work with individuals, families, professionals and boards who are navigating complexity, change and responsibility and who want to make thoughtful, confident decisions about the future. My role is to bring clarity where things feel stuck, open up new ways of thinking, and help people see options and opportunities they may not yet be able to see for themselves.
With deep experience across law, financial advice, leadership and governance, I bring independent judgement, original thinking and a strong belief in the intelligence that emerges when people think well together and make intentional choices. Meaningful progress comes not from inherited assumptions, but from the courage to think differently and act with clarity and integrity.
My work takes different forms depending on the context and the challenges people are facing. Some come to me navigating significant decisions in their personal lives or family wealth. Others are leading organisations, teams or boards and want to strengthen judgement, leadership and long-term capability. Many are seeking to shape purposeful impact through philanthropy or board-level governance.
In each case, the work is grounded in thoughtful conversation, independent perspective and a commitment to clarity, integrity and meaningful progress.

Navigating complexity with clarity, confidence and direction.
I work with people who find themselves facing significant decisions around money, family and the future, often without clear answers or the right questions yet formed. Together we find the right questions to ask, translate complex advice into meaningful choices, surface real options, and enable confident, intentional decisions that support both security and freedom.
My work often involves complex family dynamics, intergenerational planning, significant wealth, business interests, trusts, and family office-style coordination. I operate comfortably alongside professional advisers, helping clients integrate legal, financial and personal considerations into coherent, human decisions.
I bring over 30 years’ experience across law, financial advice, leadership and business growth. Having stepped away from the traditional professional services model, I now work independently, free from conflicts of interest and commercial bias. This allows me to get to the heart of what really matters, offering clear judgement, strategic perspective and effective coordination across advisory teams, always focused on what genuinely serves the client and their family.

Strengthening the human capability that will define professional value in the next decade.
Professional services are undergoing a fundamental shift. As technical knowledge becomes increasingly automated, the real differentiator will be human judgement, confidence, influence and the quality of client relationships. This is not optional change. It represents a redefinition of what professional value truly means.
I work with senior professionals, emerging leaders and leadership teams who want to remain relevant, credible and impactful in this evolving landscape. This includes people in their late 30s, 40s and beyond who are navigating increasing responsibility, shifting client expectations and the implications of AI for their professional identity and future direction.
My work focuses on developing the deep human capability required to operate effectively in complex environments: strategic thinking, authority, decision-making, influence, and the ability to hold sophisticated client and organisational conversations. This includes helping leaders operate with greater authenticity and self-trust, rather than performing roles or conforming to outdated expectations, enabling them to lead with clarity, resilience and credibility over time. This is transformational development, not personality profiling or behavioural tools.

Clarity, structure and impact in purposeful giving.
Many individuals and families want their wealth to contribute positively to the world, but feel uncertain about how to translate good intentions into meaningful action. Philanthropy can feel complex, emotionally charged or overwhelming, particularly where family dynamics, legacy, governance and long-term responsibility are involved. As social, economic and environmental contexts continue to evolve, many people are becoming more thoughtful about how their resources are used and the impact they wish to create, making clarity and intention increasingly important if good intentions are to translate into meaningful, sustained contribution.
I work with individuals, families and family enterprises to clarify what impact truly matters to them, and to design philanthropic activity that is thoughtful, effective and aligned with their wider life and wealth strategy. This can include establishing and supporting charitable trusts or foundations, developing grant-making strategies, shaping governance and decision-making frameworks, and supporting next-generation engagement in purposeful giving.
Drawing on my experience across law, finance, governance and coaching, I support clients to move beyond ad hoc giving towards intentional, values-led philanthropy that builds confidence, coherence and lasting contribution.

Strategic perspective and constructive challenge at leadership level.
I am open to non-executive director, trustee and independent advisory roles where clear thinking, sound judgement and constructive challenge strengthen organisational performance and long-term direction.
My background spans law, financial advice, leadership, business growth and complex stakeholder environments. Alongside this, I have served as a trustee across a number of charitable organisations and currently serve as chair of an international research charity, bringing hands-on experience of governance, stewardship, risk, strategy and organisational leadership at board level.
